Hi Amanda, i tried this one with paynes gray, turquoise and white and the metallic spray paint took over and frosted the entire dark areas? How can i avoid that. Thank you.
I would add more paint after adding the spray paint and then tilt it out. The extra paint should help keep some of those areas unfrosted from the spray paint.
Hi Amanda, i also am addicted to your process of painting like this. Have you had any trouble with cracking since no medium is isr in the paint? Thank you.
I have only had some cracking on one painting but it was a large one and I don't think i tilted enough paint off, probably too much in a couple of areas on the canvas. But on smaller pieces no, I haven't had issues with cracking.

I use spray varnish and so far have not had any issues with losing brilliance. Maybe try a gloss varnish not matte.

What materials do you use?
I am using acrylic paints and also some alcohol inks for a mixed media technique.

This is not alcohol ink? I didn't even realize acrylic ink was a thing! Time to go order some new supplies to try!
Yes this is acrylic ink! There are tons of brands and any craft store should carry some. I mainly use Liquitex brands and Daler Rowney.

Honestly it has been so long I don't remember what the water temp was. I think it was just room temp water.

Of course I think you could add glitter just fine. I know there are also some craft paints with glitter in them too that you could try.
